Weekly Programs
Sunday School - Sunday School is a weekly opportunity for kids to study the Bible among their peers. We have a total of 3 Sunday School classes for youth for preschool, elementary, and middle/high school ages. Here is a quick look at what each class is doing:
Children's Church - During the greeting time of our worship service we invite children in preschool or elementary to attend our Children's church as an alternative to staying in to listen to the morning sermon. Kids who attend will enjoy activity based lessons designed just for them in a more casual atmosphere, but are also welcome to remain in the service with their families.
The Vault - The Vault is a unique discipleship program designed for youth who want to, "soar higher by digging deeper." The name refers to the images of a pole vaulter, who reaches great heights by running and skillfully digging a pole into solid ground and the image of a bank vault in which great treasures are stored. By digging deeper into the Bible and becoming committed disciples, our older students will reach new heights of leadership and valuable knowledge. This program is for committed students in grades 8th through 12th and not intended for those just looking to have fun.
The Garden - The Garden is our mid-week program for youth that emphasizes, "Growing up and growing together." We are currently using our own curriculum which features "God Rocks! Bibletoons," music videos. Additionally, there are weekly VBS-style activities like snacks, games, crafts, and service projects that are led by various adults in the congregation. The program is primarily designed to serve elementary students, with older students in middle and high school serving in leadership roles. Alternately, older students can also participate in the adult Bible study if they are not interested in serving as leaders.
